Challenge number #2

The "Closet & Home Clean out Cash" Challenge

How it works: Spend 2 weeks decluttering your closet and home to sell items you no longer use. This will allow you to start learning how to create smarter spending habits.

Spend 2 weeks going through your closet and home to sell items you no longer use.

Wardrobe: Sell gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories on platforms like Poshmark, Depop, or eBay.

Household items: List small appliances, furniture, electronics, or decor on Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, or Craigslist.

Once items are sold transfer every dollar you earn directly into your savings.

Reflect: This challenge helps you identify purchases you didn’t use or need, giving you insight into smarter, more intentional spending habits moving forward.

Now lets set a Goal!

Save $150 (or more!) by selling unused items. This is a very realistic goal and great start no matter how small it all adds up!

Tips for motivation:

Make it a fun challenge to see who in your household or friend group can sell the most.

Share your "found money" and decluttering success stories on social media.
